The Day
We shall be celebrating at Springkell, a Palladian country house in Dumfriesshire, in the style of the 1910s, all cream, gold and blue. Full timings for the day will follow nearer the time.

We have reserved a block of rooms at Springkell for our guests, and we kindly ask that you stay with us on site. It means no taxis to book, so you can simply enjoy the celebration until the very end.

The rooms
Springkell has 21 beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms within the main house, accommodating up to 49 guests, including honeymoon suites, family rooms, twin rooms and an accessible bedroom. See the rooms on Springkell’s website.

Our celebration takes its inspiration from the 1910s, so a touch of period glamour is very welcome, though by no means required.

By car
Leave the M74 at junction 20 and drive through the village of Eaglesfield. Springkell’s gates are on the left, just after the village.
Satnavs can take a wrong turning here, so please follow the route through Eaglesfield as you near the house.
By train
Lockerbie, about eight miles away, is the convenient mainline station. Please arrange a taxi from the station in advance.
By air
Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle are the nearest major airports, each roughly an hour and a half away by car.
After the celebration
There is no need for a taxi home if you stay with us on site. See rooms and rates.

Can I bring a plus one?
While we would love for everyone to attend, we do have a limitation on guest numbers. Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate those named on the wedding invitation and RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
Do I need to stay at Springkell?
We have reserved rooms for each guest and we kindly ask that you stay on site, so that you do not need to book taxis.
How do I book a room?

Gold and navy, and no white, please. See the dress code.
